Well we all know I work on a boat and I am away from my family alot. The money is great but when do you say life is not about money? I want to be with the wife every night and take my grandkids fishing and surfing every weekend. Ofcourse I would have to cut back and sell alot of stuff including the truck , my cabin in NC and a few other things.

I hear ya! Being at home with the family is worth a TON of money!!

Hang in there, maybe something will change for the better!!

There are a lot of people that take a step back and look at their lives and decide that sometimes what they have to give up in order to make the money they do, is not worth it.

It takes a strong committment from all parties involved. It's a big decision so make sure everyone supports it.

Besides, now your wife won't have as much time for her boyfriend.;) Make sure he's okay with this also.:p :D

Good luck on whatever you decide.

I know it sucks to be away from family. You will get to the point when enough is enough. I think I would work long enough to pay off the truck though :D

Paul

well I think I am going to sell the truck and work long enough to buy a race car around the 15000 dollar range. I have seen alot of race cars that are in the 11s and some in the 10s for around 10000. When I get home I will have enough money for that. So I think when I get home I will be putting the truck up for sale it has 15000 miles on it and I hope I can get my pay off wich is 33,000

Damn... We are going to lose another good person...

All the good guys are selling their trucks right as I get here. WTF!:dontknow:

You are right though. If you just want a fast car/truck there are a lot of options that are cheaper than the 10...

dont get me wrong I love my 10 , it is the best truck I have ever owned,,, but I want a car for the track and I cant take the 10 surfing, hunting, fishing, I just use it for cruising because it is too great of a truck to mess up. And now that I have taken it to the track a few times I dont have the money to make it real fast. Its cheaper to get a car thats already built for the track.

and really even if I cant have a car I still have my surfing and fishing and I am just really want to be with my family. As I look back growing up, I always told my self I was going to make more money than my dad so I can have some nice toys, but now I know My dad worked hard but watched is sons grow into men. and spend every night with his wife

hey man, if you get rid of the 10 and have withdrawals, you know we can meet at Breakaway and you can boss the quad cab down the strip!

Is breakaway a 1/4 or 1/8?

Anyway way you want to slice it is OK by me. I'm not sure you realise what you have? Let me spell it out for you. A limited production run of a discontinued factory build. And your going to swap it for some Mustang II with a Windsor? First priority is family.

Yes a limited edition truck that will be hard to sell because nobody wants one,,and the track car will not get me a ticket and be way faster. There are 10 sec track cars everywhere for 15,000 . And there is only 1 srt 10 in the 10s and he has a whole lot more money in it then that.... dont get me wrong I love the 10 but I love my wife , dogs , and kids more

Do what ever makes you happy. Some fall in love with the 10. Some fall out of love with it. Sometimes different things become priority. I totally understand Stick.

Spending time with the family is indeed priceless, but sometimes sacrifices are necessary to provide a good life for your family.. I will be in the same predicament soon, but I know it'll be well worth it for my child's future.

just hooked up on a job at home for 20 buks a hour,,,, wooooo wooo

It will be a paycut from what I am making now but will be able to keep the truck. So with that and my wifes income we wont have to sell nothing ,,,,not even our cabin in NC
