Few questions

I’m based in Florida, and I’ve heard there are some really good Viper mechanics down here, so I’m not too worried about maintenance. The only thing that concerns me is the trip to pick up the vehicle. It’s about 3 hours away, and I’d have to drive it over 200 miles back home.


I also checked the Carfax, and it looks like both previous owners really took care of the car. It has stayed in Florida its whole life, and there are service records going all the way back to when it was purchased in 2006.


I checked the Viper registry that you guys posted, but it looks like the car hasn’t been registered on the site yet.

That’s a good sign .. Do you know how to check for codes ?

Simple without tools and scanners etc .

Key in ignition , turn on , off on off then on and look at the trip odometer and the codes will blink on … That will give you insight to codes that have been thrown so you can look up the reason what the problem could be ,,, Dealers and shops charge to damn much to check for codes ..

The calipers even happens on hemi driving 25 mph one day in my truck and I see smoking coming form the rear.

Ps where do you find parts for the car cause I see a website called the viper store but it doesn’t have everything?

The viper store is local I believe in Spring Hill FL …
Check with JTSVP.COM (Tony ) Great guy and has been all about the 10’s since the start he was a original member here Named Stinker hahaha and then started a business for the 10’s , highly knowledgeable and can usually find anything if it exists hahaha ..
most parts (Used ) can be found at X2 and a few other old timers from here .. Kyle is still active on here and can get part another old timer and good guy !

If things run into bad problems Wifey will jump in the Queen and drive anywhere fast shifting gears like only she can do and bring you all the research knowledge she can find … She is a original on here also from the start …hahahaha

Never heard of them .. I would be very selective on the Viper engine as to who I would trust …
For Tunes would be unleashed tuning ( Torrey ) his a top tuner and sells tuners with tunes and remote Dino stuff . He’s been around a long time !
Ronnie uses or recommends another that I can’t remember the name of,Im sure Ronnie will chime in soon enough . Ronnie is highly knowledgeable on the trucks …

You’re closer to the truck than I am. The stealership is in Orlando, and they’ve been trying to sell it for about 4 months now. They’ve dropped the price by $1,000 every month it’s been sitting, and it’s down to $32k at the moment. If you want this is the vin of the vehicle 3D3HA18H96G198380 it’s sits at 45k miles on it but I have to see it in person

Seems to have a good amount of options ,, Clean looking ..
calipers appear faded and the engine compartment needs to be cleaned and detailed .. Not sure but the headlight cover look oxidated ,.
Maybe those are few negotiable things to get replaces or done ..
