Does anyone out there make fiberglass hoods, doors, tailgates fenders? Iv been lookin online and cant seem to find anything for our year body style

I know there are plenty of prerunner fenders that are lighter than air for our trucks but that would make our trucks look down right weird

A good place to save weight is the rotors, they weigh 47 pounds a piece. Add that weight onto the heavy 22 inch rims, times that by 4, and you can begin to see how much power gets eaten up just to get everything rolling.

I honestly dont know, I hope someone will chime in here and let us know. I just got a set of stock rotors and couldnt believe how heavy they were. I know drilled and slotted rotors save a little weight, but we're talking ounces. Maybe there are some lightweight alternatives. If I had a RC and did circuit tracks, I would slap some 17" factory ram wheels on with some sticky tires and change the rotors.

I have had fiberglass fenders for years on the truck. I also have a carbon fiber hood, that looks stock, no extra vents. My fenders have small vents in the sides. My race doors which takes 12 minutes total to change for a racing weekend are made from a 2003 Ram work truck, steel door completely gutted (no side bar, no speaker, no glass window or mechanism, no door handle, no outside mirror, no door panel) just a small steel rod to open the door and a lexan widow locked in the up position. The doors save a total of 200 lbs on race day, the tail gate another 60 lbs, seats and console another 140 over the race aluminum seat, and finally 200 lbs for the Bogart (front and back) wheels and race tires over the factory wheels and tires,.......so I save about 600 lbs on race day....and it all goes back on, on Monday after the race.

Got any pics you can share?

That interior is all business. The seat makes my but hurt just looking at it.
I like the fenders.
