Still trying to iron out the bugs on the new nitrous system, I believe if I knew more about the NOS Window Switch I could get it to work much better. The switch is supposed to activate the nitrous system when it senses WOT thru voltage on the system. I have it set to open between 3000 and close at 5500 rpm. It is actually activating at 4800 rpm and then it hits the rev limiter right then not giving much time with the nitrous activated. This is an NOS #15982 Window Switch, anybody know how to work this thing???
 
I will check on that for you, but you should of bought the zex window control it works great easy and connects to any NOS system. is there a # of cylinders to enter?

Yeah, its adjusted for 10 cylinders. Just can't get it to activate early enough.
 
what number are you entering for the skip shift 2 or 3? if you put 3 then in reality it will only activate from 3 to 4 that would be why your getting just a short burst also remember to hit you deactivation point until you want it shut off ie 2-3 if you go past your deactivation point in each gear that would also explain you short burst if you set your deact act 5500 only pass that until you hit 2 or else it does what it is doin, but I could be wrong you could just have a bad control switch ?

your pretty much right! i had the same problem with mine WOT switch what switch is it? mines made by TRICK if you let us know what switch your uusing could be alot easier and Sex kits suck after about a year... no offence to anyone but then again i do have a local nitrous shop less that 30 min away from the house

It is an NOS brand.."Wide Open Throttle RPM Activated Window Switch"

Hey Earl, is yours the same part Number? They show you RPM's on the face, mine reads way high until it gets above 2000 or so then it seems to run close to engine rpm, my mechanic says that is normal??

Well I am not using a window switch,did not see the need for one,any question pm 1qksrt he did my install.:rock:

Micky wired it in and it does work at the rpm settings,when I had it dynoed thats where the settings were.
 
Plus Rice Eater ran nos for two years before he got a window switch.

WOT works off the signal from your tps it just kicks on when you mash the pedal, a window will automatically activate and overides your WOT switch and uses the signal from your tach if you only have a wire going to your tps and not one to the tach signal wire also then you have just an WOT switch.
with a window swtich
1. program rpm on
2. program rpm off
3. # of cylinders
4. skip shift 1-3
