Finally bought an SRT-10!

This is my 3rd Ram pickup. First was a '98 QC, 2nd was an '05 SC Daytona that I bought new, and I just traded it for an '05 black QC with 27k miles and tons of mods already installed. It's definitely one of a kind. I'm sure some of you here have seen it at one time - the original owner was Johan Santana who used to be starting pitcher for the NY Mets.

Anyway, it's changed hands 4 or 5 times since, but I will be the last owner. I tend to keep vehicles for a long time and I really love this truck!

I wasn't sure about the interior when I first saw photos, but in person the interior is pretty nice. So, I might just leave it as is. That truck has had a LOT of money dumped into it over the years! I'm glad someone took the chrome and red wheels off and put black SRT wheels back on it. Looks much better than way. The engine is stock except for a K&N CAI as far as I know.

I like the seats but I would definitely get the headrests reupholstered, seeing some other dudes name on my truck would get old quick.

If it doesn't have striker heads on it, i would burn it. And im 2nd on the seats. Its like having your wifes ex boyfriends tattoo on her arm.

I'll 3 rd getting rid of the seats. The red is not so bad but the head rest says pimp mobile. The rest of the truck I wound rock.

Is the original owner famous? ? I don't mean Brett Namath famous, I mean Roger Staubach famous. I don't follow sports but would keep the seats if it might mean something later on. I assume that the number is uniform number? ?

If you have the head rests redone then keep the embroidery ones just in case

The original owner was one of the best pitchers in baseball back in the 2000's. Won a Cy Young or two and threw a no hitter for the Mets a few years ago. MIGHT have numbers good enough for the Hall of Fame.
