Finally bought one!

Ive been through 4 trucks in 18 months. Every time i trade one in i get a better deal and lower payments. 5 Star Dodge dealer finally found the truck i want. An 05 SRT10 Red SC. Traded in by a 68 year old man who bought it new, full dealer service records, good warranty (no good with what im planning on doing to it). Has 60k miles although he lived in florida and drove all the way to texas every week. Traded it in for a cobalt. Chevron Gas card must have put him under. Walked out the door, tax title tag and prep for 17,100. Was it a good deal?

While 60K is a lot, you can rebuild the engine to get her where you want her, for $12 to 18k...so you will end up with a rip snorting RC for less than $35k!

great deal, 60K is nothing on the truck. the engine will go for 150k plus, you may need a clutch but just upgrade to the centerforce. welcome
