For those who race! Awesome footage!
Well thanks to ArrestMeRed (Justin and his lovely wife) we got some pretty good footage of us making some runs. We started at our usual track and found only 10 cars at the most running and only 2 big tire cars leaving any rubber. That and it was 103* easily with a decent breeze , but not down where the track is.
It sits down a bout a hundred feet below the treeline and we got nothing. So we got refunded our money and headed for an hourish drive to our other 1/4 strip Prarie Hill. So.........this is where everyone is.:dontknow::rock::burnout:
We ran each other a few times and we must have been both anxious to win, since we both missed gears,lmfao! Both missed 4th at that, the easiest gear to hit.:dontknow: We did manage decent times for what ended up as 94-94 degrees I believe and 50% hum. Very shitty DA for sure. Felt good to at least be able to keep up and damn sure great to hook! I only shaved .2 with the slicks, but on my last pass finally realized I was never even smoking them enough at all!:dontknow: Got that now so I hope to see another .2 off!
Overall out of 7 passes I mustered a 13.6 but we also had issues with the timers the whole night! Nothing made sense at all? Needless to say I was pissed as I could feel the nastiness of the 60ft yet couldn't see the 1/4 time, 1/8 time or mph and most of the time the 1/4 had no trap speed.
Another good note is the LS1 TA I raced was running 12.8s and he literally only got a front bumper on me at the trap and he didn't catch me till the last few hundred feet!:rock:
