Automatic Transmission Design

Up here they are the best. So they drop the trans and found out the drum had its teeth tore off.... The entire clutch pack was burned and the band was shot.

Chuck, walked me thru the entire thing. He did tell me that everything that was supposed to be in the tranny was. In fact it had everything done to it that ATD would do so kudos to Century Transmission down in Texas.

Chuck wanted me to change the auto to a manual auto which means I would have to shift the column..... hell no... but he said it would probably happen again over time because of the power I am putting through it. So I just said I would see him year for a new refresh... he laughed

He did fiddle with the valve body and it does shift real nice now...

Well Paul it has been a long haul...and I presume that all of the Hennessey issues have now been addressed. I want to see it the first time you take it to the track so let me know.

I am still trying to make June 21st work for a GTG...and maybe we can end the day at Great Lakes so we can see that monster run. As soon as I get a few obligations behind me...I will let you know. Sean is going to tune mine as soon as the motor is back in the truck.

Mine will only run if there is a roe next to me at the line......... hehe
 
Maybe a Paxton too...Mike has that red beast that used to belong to Randy...and Randy now has the Tang...could be a really fun day...but we will have to contend with all the NOS rats...the 21st is street racing competition...so all the juice boys will be there.
 
i might be in but im currently deciding if the clutch is gonna get replaced soon, ill driver there but prolly wont race her that day im thinkin. Additionally im still dealing with that stickin throttle prob. Dodge has a new throttle cable coming for me for freeeeee! so were gonna try that, if it dont work its back to the throttle body (looks fine to me) or the petal booster maybe.:confused:

Good to see her running again.....seeing those pictures of her brought back some good and bad memories.
