Finally...the tune with the SCT is done..

Congrats Larry!! Nice numbers. . .

I wonder if it enough to keep with mine??? :p :D (Chub's 703 wasn't!!!)

I look forward to seeing it run. FYI - W're going to try and make it to the track on Friday somewhere around 6:30 7:00. Watch for a little bit, let the trucks cool then once the sun goes down make some passes!

sorry i'm noob in this... but what do they change regarded a standard program ROE gives with the cards ? As long you have a stock engine with the stock VEC ... is there so much to gain ??? :dontknow: :dontknow:

Barry the VEC is still a great tuning tool...it works by taking data and changing it to fool the PCM...the SCT on the other changes the program in the PCM..no external box or mass of wires...tune cards for the VEC have to be mailed unless you paid for the tuning CD...the SCT tunes can just be emailed....the SCT will soon have data logging that will help with fine tuning without physically going to a tuner.....and the Roe SC no longer comes with the VEC..he is now using the SCT........

Is it worth it to change?...:dontknow: .........
