I have been meaning to do this for the longest time! And since my pads were worn (very) thin, it was the perfect time!

New pads in front, and a shiny new coat of ceramic paint! Didn't turn out as good as I had hoped, but I am hot and too tired to be fussy. Now on to the other side....

Yes, I am ashamed of how dirty it was!

See how thin the pads were:

I just used the Dupli-Color Caliper paint kit from Auto-Zone. I recommend picking up an extra can of brake cleaner though. I used almost the whole can on the first caliper.

The rotors should be ok, as long as I bed-in the new pads the right way. They look worse than they are....

Looks awesome Scott...
Line up your wheel so you can see the viper decal and take a pic.

Powder coating would be more durable and is a pain from experience but is worth the effort. Gotta say they do look good.

They look great,Yeah that dupli-colur kit does work really good,Yellow Fever #154 came over and we did ours up,needed more brake clean, but still 1/2 a can of paint left!

Thanks for the underhood painting help

3 hours and finally done. Thanks for the info and suggestion for doing this. Let me know what you think

I went to a craft store and bought acylic paint and had to coat it 5 times before I got the right look. The color was bright red. Had to use 4 different size brushed, but what else do I have to do right?:D
