First off, I want to thank Stinkeroni for "donating" to the cause. The ignorant SOB suprised me with a nice Recon Fire and Ice LED Light Bar at the Spring PCB GTG. He wouldn't accept payment or anything. He just wanted me to install the thing successfully and report back. All he did want was a little suck-n-blow action. . . :dontknow: :hahaha:
Secondly, I want to thank Scott (azpyroguy). I needed some advice as how to disable to "running" lamp feature of the light bar and he came through with a simple solution in a very timely manner. Thanks!! :congrats:

Now that we got that out of the way. . . .
I've had this F&I Light Bar since the Spring GTG, and I finally got around to installing it. It was a two-night & 10 beer process!
The first night I had to modify the Light Bar so it could be adhered to the underside of the spoiler. This included removing the spoiler (shhhhh - don't tell anyone I took the spoiler off!) and drilling a hole in the tonneau (shhhhh - don't tell anyone I did that either). I got the Light Bar adhered to the spoiler on the first night.
The second night consisted of running the wires in a fashion where they wouldn't be visible plus be able to still use (shhhhh - I don't seriously use my truck) the tonneau/bed without the wires getting damaged. Lastly, I modified the Light Bar so the "running" feature was disabled. I've always loved how the light bars look, but never cared for how they stay constantly lit when the tail-lights are on. I just wanted mine as a 3rd brake-light. Scott hooked me up and told me all I had to do is cut one wire. Viola! Running lamps disabled!! I also chose not to make use of the reverse lamp feature. I only did this cause I ran out of time. I will go back and get this working because I plan to completely tint my tail-lights and it will be nice to still have some usable reverse lights.
Here's the pics!! (and video)
Edit: You'll have to wait til tonight for pics/video. I thought I had my thumb-drive with me. I apparently do not.
(Sorry!)
