Fire and Ice light bar

I know someone posted that they have installed this bar but I can't find the thread. Did you hard wire it or did you use the big trailer plug with an adapter??:dontknow:

I've got the regular line of fire (no ice- backuplights) they just plug right into the 4pin factory plug (ive got an 04). I believe for the fire and ice version, you do need to splice one wire (white wire?) . Hope this helps.

look up under the truck theres a 4 wire up under there you can just plug it up and zip tie the extra wire up out of the way to the frame that way you wont have a adapter sticking out of the round trailer plug

Check out my thread for latest mods, I posted pics with it (click). In regards to the connection I just hooked up the LED bar with the trailer connection, then spliced the reverse LED lights into the wire going to the Left Rear reverse tailight. If you need more details let me know.

did you run yours over the hole for the spare tire lock?? :dontknow:

Not sure what you mean. I tie-wrapped all the extra slack on the trailer connection.

the light rail itself, does it cover part of the hole that lets you unlock the spare tire, or is it above the hole??
