fire rings/O rings

does anyone know what is actually required to install them? i know i need head studs, and a special head gasket for the rings to mate properly with, but ive heard conflicting info on if you need to cut a groove for the rings in the block, head, both....:confused: :confused: :confused:Also, is there a differnce between firerings and o rings? i plan on boosting around 80-100 lbs when im done

i know some of u higher Hp guys might be able to help me out

your on the right track on the heads and the block its very easy to do i did my cummins my self. also do not use a copper head gasket they are made only for sled pulling. use a camedic (or how ever you spell it) if you need help im sure my boys on. www.tdr1.com or www.newenglandturbodieselpower.com will help you out p.m signal73 his name is jim and he can help you farther
