Last night I fired it up and the 710 cam sounds:rock::elefant::elefant::rock: thats all I can say for now. Just a few little things to do and than the 500 mile break-in and oil change.

This has been along few months and costy but with the added power should make the truck even more fun to drive.:)

I don't know if I'll make it to the DynoJet this year or not. I'm hoping tobe in the 525 RWHP to 540 RWHP after put in.

1. 710 Cam
2. Performance Valve Springs, Lifters and Pushrods
3. Forged Rotating Assembly & Clevite Bearings
4. 3 Angle Valve Job
5. Port Heads & Gen 4 Head Gasket
6. Balance Engine
7. Spec 2+ Clutch

Will let you know what I think after break-in..:burnout:

Glad to hear it's up and running again.

Raised the compression from 9.6 to 9.8 with a Gen 4 Head Gasket because we only have 91 octane fuel. I don't know if the pistons will give the motor alittle more or not.

Do you know how many pounds of cranking pressure you have?

Glad its running. Now lets hear it, I am wanting to do the cam and springs also.:D

Sean and I are working thru the fuel program. It's so rich it turns the plugs black and tail pipe. The check engine light is on and the codes are PO172 & PO175 engine to rich.

I'll try to get you guys something after I get the engine running right but the 710 cam does sound good.:D

Yes ,you must pull fuel at idle:) Then trim the fuel tables until air fuel looks right.:)

Sean told me not to drive like that and it was in the low 10's on a/f at 3200 rpm with the new tune. Ironhead, maybe you can post a 710 cam sound clip for these guys.
