I ran slower due to clutch hydraulics not allowing me to shift at high RPMs but overall wasn't too bad! Granny shifting and still couldn't get into 4th. Found some new shit called wheelhop,LOL. Hope to get her ready for the Truck Shootout this weekend.:burnout:

98MPH! Yeah I lost almost a second not being able to shift between gears worth anything and not getting into 4th at all.;) Got a good bleed on it this weekend so maybe better. If not gonna need a new Master since I got mine used, or maybe slave spacing to get the fingers on the Pressure Plate to release the clutch fully.:dontknow:
 
hope you get it figured out to see if you can do any better..... I know it great to row through gears but it aint worth going a half sec or more!
 
Rowing the gears is definitely more fun and should be quicker but the driver has the responsibility to control torque to the wheels early on and then change gears ! Takes some getting used to! Especially 3rd gear!
 
Thanks guys, I was disappointed as well, but trust me;) it wasn't the driver mod! I have driven every T56 except this one and they all have the 2-3 issue if not correctly thrown. Most often it's the driver trying to force a 2-3 shift vs. letting the shifter go where it wants. Mine just locked out completely as it wasn't disengaging. I have tried a few runs testing it out, but never 100% full throttle like at the track. 1st launch was nice, but a little bog and NO wheelspin. 2nd run ( the video, only ran 2 runs) I dumped her to try and get a 60ft and about shook my tailgate off and had to let out. You could here the violent wheelspin so I quickly let out and got back in hooking. Watch the front end during the 1-2 shift! Seeing a QC jump between gears is phenomenal.

I can seat of the pants tell I am quicker. Not only does the 80-100lbs weight savings a factor, but the rotating mass is less and a direct drive not a fluid couple drive so less HP loss.;)

hey thats noot bad video for acell phone, need to get some in the day time though they was they have the lights at little river really screw with a camera.
 
dude a 6 spd in a quad cab is a great show no matter how fast u go.totaly awesome.congrates on the swap. and i know its fun the minute u start your truck up.

It's a custom Viper style side exhaust with Mac 3" mufflers. Thanks man. I am not a fan of raspy and wanted as much of a V8 style sound with an exotic twist,lol. I stopped my search after I tried these, 4 sets later.:eek:
