I made it out to the track today even though I was exhausted. I made a few passes with the DRs that I got a few weeks ago. I am still trying to find the spot where I don't fall on my face at the line without replacing my clutch. I don't push the truck like most do. Here are the times and vids. Each runs got slightly faster. At this rate I woulda been in the 11's after a few more runs LOl I WISH! Best was a [email protected]

Yeh man the wind was kickin at times. Felt awesome out. Ended up with some sunburn. But I don't care.......Im finally in the 12's. I wish I could have ran saturday bc it was much cooler and calmer.

Nice job, at least you race the damn thing. No offense, but these garage queens drive me crazy. Not too many dyno queens around here no more,so you're good.

I use to only go about once a year so I wasn't beatin the hell out of it. I have got the fever lately tho. It has really been pointless till now without traction I was just wasting 25 bucks to run and about 10 bucks in tire wear each time.

Nice runs. I have a little tip for you that will help lower your times. Your burn-out is way too short, you're not getting any heat at all in the tire. You need to get a line-loc installed, then heat the tire for about a five second count. That will allow you to leave at a higher rpm. Your staring line rpm sounds pretty low, I was able to use about 3800 rpm with drag radials, I would suspect you are below that. Your 1.90 60' in your last run will drop into the 1.70's or maybe even a high 1.60 and those extra .2 seconds quicker in the 60' will translate to a lower ET by about .4 ( so in the 12.50 range). Good Luck and again.....nice runs...it's always good to break a barrier!

Thanks fot the helpful info. The burnout was short bc I dont have line lock and I just replaced rear rotors and brakes due to burnouts and that was costly LOL. They did grip OK but I know a good burnout would help. RPMs were 2500 and dropping on the clutch drop. Will the stocker hold 3800? If so, I will put this info to use at Mopars at the Rock April 6th! Thanks again for feedback

You will need to upgrade the entire clutch system if you are going to get serious. I think an aluminum flywheel will give you .2......right after switching to 4.56 gears , if you haven't already done so.

Eventually I will do a clutch upgrade. I still have the 4.10s. What I want to do is squeeze the best times that I can ot of what I have, then when I don't gain I would like to lightly modify. I still want to be able to return to stock one day if the market recovers LOL
