first speeding ticket today

IN THE ATX!!!!!!
im driving down the road doing maybe 60mph in a 55 zone. State trooper turns around lights on. I pull over... he instructes me to turn off the vehicle and then another trooper pulls up. They ask to search the vehicle. I have nothing to hide, its a rental..so I say sure, no problem. They search the car and of course find nothing, then the Trooper says..well I am going to have to write you up for doing 65 in a 55!!!!!!! I was shocked....I didnt even try to tell him that I was not doing 65.....oh well, great way to start off the day. I guess I am just upset cuz its my first ever.....I told him that and he said, oh really, so I am wondering if they even looked at my profile.....dont matter I guess, just ranting. Thanks for reading.

Texas is the state, but I was going thru a small town, and I mean small...I figure its just another way of making revenue. After they wrote me the ticket, I thanked them for keeping the highways safe. They saw no humor in that, but it sure did make me feel good.
 
They were looking for something or someone. The ticket was just a cover.
 
when i got pulled over in my car the cop didn't even look in my car he was lookin off into the distcance n asked if i had ne weapons drugs or ne thing illegal i said nope n he left n gave me a ticket for 80 in a 55 wierd thou cuz i don't know how fast i was goin n i was cruisin next to a semi ?
 
The problem is you just look like trouble....You have the drug runner look about you....:D

maybe they just wanted some of your McD's....
 
They were looking for someone with a similar vehicle.....

The ticket was just a matter of convenience.....

Texas....? Consider yerself lucky that they didn't do a cavity search...... Texas is (technically) not a part of the USA....

When I got busted in Channing, TX. in the 70's, I wasn't being very cooperative regarding them looking in my trunk. So the Ranger told me, "Look around and tell me what you see...." I said, "Well, I see 7 of you, one of me and nothing fkn else as far as the eye can see.... Are you saying that I'm gonna get my ass kicked from here to Dumas if I can't produce a key...?" The trooper replied, "Smart boy"...........

Consider yourself lucky...............It cost me $250 just to get out'a town.......... Texas is another world unless yer in Austin....

Oklahoma isn't any better....trooper pulled me over....and asked me if there were any weapons in the car (an Avis Rental)...I said.."umm define weapon"....no sense of humor...next thing I know he has me in his car as he searched mine....after finding out that I was selling shampoo...he let me go figuring how mush of a threat can a shampoo guy be....
