Two things to clear the air.. I AM a self proclaimed track weenie (currently wearing reading glasses with a missing lense) AND I dispise donuts because 6.5 years in law enforcement makes me hate 'em.

Finally saw this thread. What was failed to mentioned here is that it was the FIRST time I drove Anthony's truck down the 1/4-mile. With his new clutch/flywheel set-up, I wanted to get a couple passes before slipping it and getting a good 60'.

Also, due to time constraints, a second pass was not possible. This Friday night with no other mods other than disconnecting the PCM and reconnecting then actually DRIVING #1900 this time will definately yield different results.

Gotta realize that I'm not going to go out and thrash on another man's vehicle until I know how it's gonna' react ripping through the gears. If 2nd and 3rd passes would have been possible, this thread would have started much differently.

but when i get behind the wheel it s business/pleasure type of relationship between car and driver. More business on my part to make it as pleasurable for the vehicle involved. more like a symphony if you will, things come together in a orchastrated manner of such great magnitude to pull off the most brilliant pass.
