First time out Drag!

I was upset that it would not do better than a 9.27 in the 1/8th but it was hot 91 degs. and the tires would not stick any even at a roll out.

No changes to truck yet!

I will look for some tires - like everyone else to get it down the track.

Miles per hour was good 80! It should be in the 8's in the 1/8th.

I will have to go to 1/4 mile next to get a better feel of 3rd gear!
2nd gear pulled real good.

WEEL FOR ME THATS GOOD... I WENT TO THE TRACK 2 WEEKS AGO AND I DID 9.64 IN THE 1/8 IT WAS AROUND 94 DEGS... THE TRUCK HAD 1500 MILES ON THE ODOMETER.... ITS A QC...... ARE THOSE GOOD OR BAD #S ????

I'm at around 5500DA(altitude) usually and my best so far is 8.88 in the 1/8th, but thats ok for a stock QC(get a flash and wake that monster up!)...I would think a RC should be pretty close to that 8.9x since I just had a Magna cat-back on my best timed run

ya but his is RC...VECII would be good for some ponies for him

did you lower rear tire PSI? I usually take mine from street PSI(40lbs) to about 10 less than that for the strip...more surface area...also go AROUND any water in the lanes and then spin the tires to knock off any dirt(wet burnouts usually just get water in the treads and then drain back out when you get settled into the staging process)

I plan on adding some horses! I have to roll some cars out to sell! I need to see what gears are in it and get some drag radials or cheater slicks!
I have NOS to put on it that should be good on the roll! I will check into the VECII.... thanks!

That doesn't seem to be a bad starting run. I bet the more experience you get behind the wheel at the track your numbers will get better.
