You need the lower piece of the cal tracs to have the offset alignment hole like the bell tech lower does on it.

Make sure the caltrac plate center bolt matches that flat plate center bolt. This was the problem when I did my install and resulted in a dropped drive shaft.

at the very least try to put some type of weld on the flip part so that it does not rotate the rear axle

Just remember the Caltracs are special. You can not use the RC or the QC. There is a special set for QC's with flip kits.

just call cal tracs they are 70 bucks for the bottom pieces for a RC. which is what youll need if you lower a qc

They are not the same as a regular cab Eddie. I had the RC brackets and that is what caused my driveshaft to drop. Here is what Travis at Calvert sent me in an email:

The Cal-Tracs should've been order for a Quad cab with a flip kit. The reason being the quad cab uses a different front spring eye called a center or mid eye. The reg cab Srt-10 truck uses a reverse eye in the front. Therefore each application uses a different Cal-Trac pivot and cannot be interchanged.

I am just glad I wasn't going but a few MPH's when mine dropped.
