Hope all you east coast boys are making it through ok. It flooded pretty good back in my old stomping grounds, they have had the town on all the news channels out here for the last couple of days. Here are some pics of a friends place. He just got the house done and moved his stuff in a week and a half ago.

He got lucky, just got to the door. Got the garage, but he had everything out of there. A lot of people didn't get that lucky though.

We're on the border of Montgomery and Bucks Counties, and all is basically normal in this area, but other towns not very far away, didn't fare so well.

If you've ever heard of Reading or Pottstown (Pa), they were partially flooded.

I drove towards these two towns yesterday and today, and saw some of the mess. It's actually kind of scary to see first hand. I mean, I've seen it on the news numerous times, but it really starts to mean something when you see (with your own eyes) streets that run straight into a muddy-brown lake and houses partially submerged.

Also heard of many other areas that received too much water.:(

Fortunately, the water levels are definitely going back down, and the sun is out for now. It's still going to be a long and expensive clean-up though.

Those pics are from Easton. I used to live on the river almost directly across from the house in the pics. I had a real low lying yard too, it has to be 15 feet under water now.

Yep - One of the concrete plants we supply is up Rt.611. North of Rt.22, near Martin's Creek. As of now, we can't really get there...:dontknow:
Actually, there are other ways in, but 611 isn't an option for the time being.
