FLORIDA DECEMBER 1st TRUCK CHALLANGE @ MOROSSO!!!

Lets say Pompano Beach Service Plaza offf the Turnpike at 3:30 pm.....gates open at 4:30....gotta tech, change tires and fill some bottles! those coming from the north can just meet there....go through the front gate and hang to the left and look for the trucks, mustangs and LX's!

Everything looked good until the wife heard about the whole plan.I was going to bring my sons and stay over for the dolphins game sunday.got inventory sat morning also.Maybe next time.Rice man hope the back is doing better.catch you guys next time!!

We have a grill, tent (gonna be dark, don't get that one lol) , water, sodas, chips ect.. all donated and trying to provide enough for all... bring more and throw in if ya want :rock:
A few beers for after, but can never have too many :bebored:
Also have my old man "Hammertime" hangin' and pitting with us with a Big block 72 Nova - finally back from the chassis shop and doing some shake down passes. One of the last passes we could see the entire side of the car from around the 650' - 800' mark. If all goes well, runs straight and the track holds him we should see mid to low 10's... may add the bottle soon as well and get the EKG to run in the 9's :nurse: lol.

Well I don't know,but I also invited my Diesel buddy Chris !!! He may be able to :dontknow: :D convince his buddy with the 10.47 Diesel to make an appearance !!! Going to be heading to Mickey's early am,and then head down from there !! Hopefully everything goes smooth there,and I'll be ready to play !!!:dontknow: If we're lucky,he may feel good enough to join us too !!!:dontknow:

dennis sweet my brother finally found a set of stock tires so we'll finally get to see what the big mega cab can do! I'll bring some meat for the grill! see you guys real soon! I also got my firiends brother to come he has an HD and is a nice guy. s
 
Moroso was a blast,i dialed in at 13.8 in my qc,made it to the final where my dam hose for my power steering gave out and started dumping at the line!(we knew the line was bad but couldnt get a new one til monday,after so many runs it just started leaking really bad).SO I HAD TO BACKOUT ,SUCKS!!!!!!!

6pak was also in the quarters(i think he spun on my power steering leak!!!!!!)

ricey was having issues with his nos and didnt run too well

I'LL let the rest chime in with their times
 
But the phat MOFOS with the QUADCABS withstood the challenge (grease job and all)!!!!f'N GREAT TIME !!!!Hit my personal best tonight,14.02,just couldn't break the 14 barrier !!!:( Oh well,there's always another day !!! :rock: :rock:

Thanks Chad, and all you guys for helping make it a great event all year! We feed an army out there last night - they'll remember the truck guys for sure LOL. We are glad you guys had fun and we are trying to assemble the deal and plans with the track for another Challenge next year.
Will be looking for sponsors and Jack or I will keep you guys posted. I will check in time to time (hope you don't mind a L guy stopping by to visit - promise not to troll lol) and Chad knows how to reach me if you guys need anything - let us know and we'll help if we can.

FlChub... congrats and condolences. That blows you had to pull out. Jack spoke to Chad and will arrange getting your trophy to you.
