Anyone around Orlando hanging out with his 10 on 29th of July - 05th of August.

Going to be in Florida with my daughter to celebrate her 10th birthday

If anyone wants to hang out and have a beer in the evening let me know, maybe it fits in the schedule

Any recommendation on a must see with a girl at that age ?

Going to stay in the Marriot at the Disney resort for the first 2 nights and then probably move on... Maybe Miami or Tampa, or....

Any recommendation would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Arne

spend time with daughter, not us. sooner than you think she won't have the time of day for you, her friends will always be first

In Orlando, I would suggest universal studios for the kid during the day, they also have the big imax theatre their as well as comedy shows at night. I don't really like Miami for vacation although the night life is awesome. Miami is the east coast so the water is cold and rough. Tampa/st.pete area is warm water and hardly any waves. Great for a small child. In st.pete I would recommend the Trade Winds island resort. alittle pricey but worth it for a short stay. Tampa also has a HardRock Casino, A top Golf driving range. BushGardens and a Water Park. Also in Orlando I would suggest Sea World.

Concerts: Whitesnake is playing august 3 in Orlando at the Hard Rock, Toby Keith is playing in Tampa august 1

Have Fun. DONT be stupid....Put sunblock on BEFORE you leave your hotel!!!! Ive known lots of people who ruined their vacation. Rule of Thumb is.,,, If you feel yourself getting sun, its to late. YOUR BURNT

Thanks, will take some of your points on the list. (Which is very long already):D

My girl is already going crazy and adds lots of things to do, buy, see.....etc.

Probably have to stay longer than 7 days:D:D

You won't be disappointed regardless of where you decide to go. I personally love Miami, but I also enjoyed Tampa / Clearwater area when I visited.

It has been 10 years since I visited Orlando so I can't even recommend an attraction since so much has changed.
