has anyone dynoed the flowmaters. i have heard of one report that the person who put them on actually lost power is this true does anybody know for sure. thanks for any help.

I had a 40 series and loved the sound, Removed it w/ straight pipes because I wanted it louder. No improvement either way (butt-dyno)

I dynod with the flowmasters....they lost a few hp over the borla.....but they did sound great.....

Somebody else also dyno'd with FM and lost some power. I forget whom it was. I think they did the dyno at Boomers.

Best bang for you buck is magnaflow dude. Loose the cats and even more power and sound.

Concur with Maui (local boy). I went catless when I added Mopar long tube headers and stayed with the OEM muffler...(old fart who wanted to sound close to stock) and have the dyno results...will be on the dyno tomorrow morning...I had to go to the flowmaster with resonators (in front of the muffler) to get rid of the rice sound. I will know the effect of the Flowmaster mod tomorrow.

I will also know the difference between the non-VEC II and the tuned VEC II after the second run on the dyno tomorrow. (First run will be with the stock card, second run will be with the VEC II tune by Sean Roe...looking forward to some empirical evidence to support my butt dyno (like ass holes, everyone has one...some are just sweeter than others).
