I have seen it twice on the beach in Nags Head NC. First time I did not see the f15 coming, I just found myself ducking for cover as this horrifically loud noise came out of nowhere and scared the shit out of me.
Next summer, I happen to see the jet coming in and I smiled as I watched everybody else on the beach freak out as he did his flyby!!! It was f#cking awesome.............so loud, so fast. He actually was way past us by the time the sound hit us!
I have never been to an airshow but would love to witness those planes again!:rock:
