Flywheel

Some have had problems with the OEM flexplate/ flywheel under heavy usage
there are aftermarket ones that are stronger if that is your concern.

Will installing an aftermarket steel or aluminum flywheel help an auto in 60ft times like ut would in manual?

no, but a higher stallspeed torqe converter will

Several different shops can build you a new converter. I don't remember the name of the shop but if you search on here he made one for Nowwhat that he was pretty happy with. Talk with the shop to determine the best stall for how you use your truck. Westminster may have been the name.

You're not going to pick up anything of note with a lighter flex plate, but there are some out there.

well if ur talking about a stronger flywheel, dont think it will help with ur times. if u want a LIGHTENED flywheel, could help. anytime you reduce the rotating mass of moving parts, you'll get better performance as it takes less power to turn the flywheel. according to manufacturers, you'll get better acceleration, maybe even a few hp.
