Hi, my name is Todd and I'm just checking out the site. Thinking about getting a SRT-10 for my next ride. I had a Silverado SS and it recently burnt up....so onward and upward. I have some newbie ?? Are all the trucks equipped the same as far as 6 speed and gearing or are there options to look for. Years. Sorry for the lame ?? I'll be doing a lot of reading on here to make sure this will fit my needs.

Oh here is a pic of the fallen SSS. Long story short...NOS backfire without fire extinguisher. :(

As far as these trucks go 04's are only RC's and have a 4.11 rear end and two piston calipers up front.
05-06 have 4.56's and 4 piston calipers up front.
of course the 06's have a different front end and interior and I believe the frame is different also.
You should check out the for sale section there's a blown 04' for 25k which is a steal;)
 
That pic looks like a SS when a Ram SRT passed it:D

Welcome bro, not too many differences,
04 had single pot calipers 4.11 gears RC only model made manuals only

05 went to dual pot calipers, 4.56 gears, first intro of quad cabs, autos in quads only.

06 interior change, also the least amount made,.

welcome, look around, many have trucks for sale with superchargers, headers, NOS set ups and so on, realy good deals for ya

Thanks man, thats why I'm here. Im kinda of gun shy of the NOS for now even though it was my stupidity. So they only made them from 04 to 06?

Don't know yet? :dontknow: Still working on it. Pulling up receipts and all that crap. Police and fire investigators filed it as accidental fire with no citations handed out. Got lucky there.

The SRT 10 has a very loyal following, it is a great ride with lots of options for modification...ask away, we are always willing to talk trucks.

05 bout what? 5k? cant remember

06 2000 or less?

heck jsut cant remember a thing..........................must be this fla air:D
 
Welcome to the club! The SRT-10 is a fantastic truck with lots of options to go fast!,I get a pile of compliments from Chevy and Ford guys!

That would fit the bill! Nice truck and love that it has a SC. I'm flying to the Dallas area tomorrow to do a little job. Let me talk this over with the wife...she kinda wants me to get a Quad cab just in case we need it to haul the kiddos around. I'll definitely get back with you on this.

Looks like the headers survived.
 
did you atleast get to toast some marshmellows before it was put out??? j/k you'll love the srt-10.
 
:dito: and spend you will do, my girlfriend had me adding up stuff the other day, i could've went with out that cause for what i've spent it's not much, but oh well. i still have fun every time i hit the little red button
