In this your time of need. Let me please be the first to say I Love You both very much. Your friendship to me has been priceless. Always there when I need to talk and always with a positive and kind word. You are a special person Ken one of the most loving and caring people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Dawn should be waking up after yet another very painful operation. Just know Dawn that I am here for you and our talks on the phone I really enjoyed. You are special as well and the two of you are awesome. I hope you recover quickly and giving Kenny some Shit soon

Merry Christmas to you both and I will be calling you that day to make sure Dawn laughs her Ass off :D With all my heart much Love and a speedy healthy recovery :D Mikey

Guys this family could use the support and the prayers. join me in showing them some Love.................................:D

MIKEY you have said it all and much better than i could have, ken is a good friend, and my family will keep them in mind when we say our prayers,if there is anything that ken or his nice wife need just let me know and we will be there.

BUMP...
Ken, I hope everything is going ok, and Dawn is feeling better. We are thinking of you both.
Please call if you want to talk, or are bored waiting for a doctor to show up or something..570-977-9865 cell, always on..

For you other guys reading this, Lets post up some support for Ken and Dawn. If you have never met Ken, He is a very nice guy, and is always promoting the Forum. I saw him in action at the Nats last year, talking to vendors about discounts for forum members, and making everyone who showed up feel welcome.
I have seen the power of this forum giving support to members in time of need. Ken asked for help, and we should all take a minute to give it to him.
Im here for you Ken..

Matt

No time for JD therapy.... finally got to work yesterday :star:, and managed to have some RN's come over to help out Dawn... muscle spasm's seem to get the best of her at the moment...despite Flexeril...She is progressing, and no spinal fluid leaks...thank God. I have a brutal schedule coming up this week ...so she will be on her own for a majority of it. Going to be a long recovery. Really wish she would have never needed the second emergency surgery...she was doing so well.:dontknow:
We will get through it....I hope by the end of this week she will be doing much better...time will tell.

Thanks for asking.... Life around here is starting to get back to "somewhat normal"...
I just got home from a 36 hour shift....Dawn has been getting around on her own with no "major" difficulties. She is still real slow ambulating, and has pain with transition...sitting to standing...ect.
She is getting frustrated that things are not progressing as fast as they did with the first surgery....but I believe she has come to terms with it.
Monday we go back to the MD for an appointment, and she gets the nylon (sutures) out of her back...so that will be good. We have the shower's figured out, (can't get the incision site wet) and it's the highlight of the day.

She has been able to get increased duration of sleep...up to 4 hours straight...so the fatigue is getting better.

Other than that...were just taking it one day at a time...and she is progressing... so it's good. Nothing major like leaking spinal fluid, infection, fevers, or abrupt/abnormal neurological issues.... so we are thankful.

I am off work till Thursday of next week....so we embrace her continued improvement... gives me the chance to be here to help her out, and the chance for me to catch up on the house, truck, and other BS while I have the time off. :D

Thanks for asking....:) She is humbled, and appreciates the thoughts and prayers.... I rolled her through the threads, and was she pretty shocked at the response from everyone... I feel that it helps her, and I thank you all.

Regards,

Ken

We are all pulling for you and Dawn. I hope you get through this soon.
