For Dawn and Kenny ( NBT )

Awesome Ken!!!

Tell Dawn we are proud of her great report card;):D:D

Still thinking of you guys, and praying for a great recovery!!

Thanks gang....in a nutshell...she is getting better...still leaking from the Vicryl suture allergy, but ambulation has improved, and were able to gate her back from the pain meds...she failed PT last week...so were on hold till further improvements.
Looks like March for a return to work timeframe...so she has a long road ahead of her.

Overall impression:
Slight improvements in physical ability, including a steadier gait. Slight apprehension with sudden movements, however otherwise unremarkable neuroligical assessment. Spasm has been chemically controlled, and has reduced breakthrough pain, secondary to the reduction in spasm.
Patient is still uncomfortable with prolonged periods of sitting, standing, or being supine for periods over 2 hours. Heat, dressing changes and PRN pain management meds, anti-spasmodics...continue to assist patient in forward progress.

Thanks brothers and sisters for the continued support, thoughts, and prayers.....Your all the best...

God Bless.

Ken you know that you can count on all of us here for anything you need bro.the thoughts, prayers are what any family does for a member of the family,it goes without saying bro.we are here if needed, and my God bless you and Dawn.

We are here for you and Dawn. Please let me know if I can help in any way.

Bill.

You ALL help me everyday....every time I am in here to see what each new day brings. This forum, all these great people...the laughs, "Fridays", and chit chat...makes my day....can't tell you how many times my eyebrows were down...and after a few post readings...changed my whole outlook for the day... for that I will be forever grateful... that in it of itself is all that I need to keep pace.

Amen brotha....good to hear some positive notes on Dawn....there will be more to come! You are right this place is all about the people!!

O Father of mercies and God of all comfort, our only help in time of need: We humbly beseech thee to behold, visit and relieve thy sick servant Dawn for whom our prayers are desired. Look upon her with the eyes of thy mercy; comfort her with a sense of thy goodness; preserve her from the temptations of the enemy; and give her patience under her affliction. In thy good time, restore her to health, and enable her to lead the residue of her life in thy fear, and to thy glory; and grant that finally she may dwell with thee in life everlasting; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

For all those who have been praying for Dawn, it has helped...we had yet another MD appointment yesterday, and she is doing better.... took her three weeks to bruise(one hell of a bruise I might add) at the incision site...:dontknow: Doc was rather suprised at her slow healing process...nonetheless...improvements are forthcoming, and she is finally getting the physical ability, and mental attitude to push herself past the pain.

Can't thank everyone enough for the thoughts and prayers....

We will be forever grateful.:D
