Mike, I saw this on the BDS (Blower Drive Service) web site under FAQ section and thought of you...:p :p :D :D

What kind of headers should I use? Steel, or stainless steel headers may be used. Engines with 400 CID or less should have exhaust tubes at least 1 3/4 " to 1 7/8" diameter and larger engines should use 2" and bigger. Forcing more air into the engine with the blower requires more exhaust to be passed through the exhaust system.

Oh boy.... Here we go again :D

nice website...have anything from this Milenium.....??????:D ...you old guys will just never learn.....:dontknow: :p

Thank goodness I am using 2 1/4" headers on the Chevelle, It's only a 468 with an 871 blower.

I surley don't want the exhaust to be too free flowing. It might make too much HP if the headers were too big.

Better get some stock manifolds for that car, since it has a blower on it.

Everybody knows headers don't work on engines with blowers.

Hate to say this Mike, but the last time I checked, the laws governing Theromdynamics had not been revised.;) :D

I'd rather have Mike's Truck without headers than mine with! I think we should trade:dontknow: :D

Mike, I meant to respond to this earlier, but forgot. What they have from and for this milenium is tons of experience...things have not changed, what made cars run fast in the 60's make them run fast now. Put all the fancy computer controlled fuel injected bull shit you want to on it, it's still and internal combustion engine. :p :p :p
