you truck look awesome with these black grill and emblem on your truck!

so who is patrick? what his username so I can pm him

dramsrt10, actually my grille inserts are not OEM honey comb, but SS speed grilles, which are brushed aluminum painted semi-gloss black, which in my opinion are a much closer match to the hood and lower valance grilles.;)

here is a link....truckperformance.com

Sanchoba, What paint did ya use?

Is it holding up?

so far so good, besure to clean with a detergent real well and then clean with a mild acid like ospho or chemprime to etch the aluminum, then prime with a spray paint for aluminum then a coat of semi gloss black.:beerglass:

sanchboa, i found the grill from the link that you gave me but which paint did u use to make it look match from bumper and hood grill? also which is it? 1-pieces, 2-pieces or 4-pieces i was just not sure which one is specific for my truck?

i used KRYLON'S RUST TOUGH zinc rich primer and KRYLON'S RUST TOUGH enamel (semi-flat black), which i purchased at auto zone. the ss speed grilles are a PITA to install ,don't use the clips that come with them, they will cut the grille shell, i cut the edge of the inserts, bent and made some tabs and secured them with short screws at the points where the OEM inserts were attached to the shell.also install from behind the shell, disregard the instructions pretty much altogether, LOL. a little custom bending here and there is in order. let me know how it goes;)
