I would like to get into the 12's not to interested in F/I , also do the 06 have the same problems with clutch lines over heating.
Do I need the upgraded Viper coupe clutch ... also I have not driven a stick since the 90's and dont want to burn this one up lol

Definately do the clutch hydraulics upgrade.....also shield and re-route the clutchlines.

Then pull the cats and do O2 sims........also one of the new shifters.

Good Luck with her.......

Are you talking 12's in general or 12's in Cali? I think the easiest and cheapest way is to run a 75 shot on a nicely prepped track while your tranny and clutch is in good shape.
btw This is from a guy that is stuck on the 13's.:(

Seems as if you run in Cali your kinda screwed!!!! In a normal environment, catback, no cats, headers(optional), pcm you should be very close. Add in shifter, new clutch, CAI and your that much closer.....now finally with all that said, you gotta be able to launch and shift......which is the hard part.

With my new mods, I should be able to hit 12's now too............but can I drive?????? I will let you know.
