For those with visual emissions inspections . . .

Here in Chattanooga, we have visual inspections. In addition to that, they connect all '96 and newer (all OBDII cars) to the computer and see if it's stored any emission's codes. '96 and older cars have to pass an actual sniffer test.

I thought I would pass this along to anyone who has inspections. If you can make your PCM happy, then this will do the trick!!! I just had the joy of swapping out the mids for "a person that I know" to pass emissions. I may suggest these to "him" before next year's inspection.

You better act quickly if you want these because my guess is that this company will not be around for very long. I bet some gov't agency will bust these guys for trying to defraud the smog laws. The maximum fine here in Cali for tampering with emissions equipment is something ridiculous like $40,000--although I've never heard of anyone getting fined the maximum amount. I've always thought that if a vehicle can pass a sniffer test, then what is the point of even having a visual inspection--other than a way of generating revenue? Anyway, sorry for the rant, just my .02.

I have these on my F150 and they'll be in my Triumph project, they look great and no problem passing NC visual with the Ferd.

We dont have emission tests up here..yet....Sullivan county's air quality has been below federal standards for years...they reduced the speed limit on I-81 that passes thru the county to 65MPH.....this is supposed to help air quality.:dontknow: ............but I am expecting we our local govts will require emission testing before long ( TN does not have a state law for testing..testing is up to city & county govts).......

I might just get a set of these since "a person that I know" has my stock mids........I would rather put the fakes in as have to swap out mids.....thanks for posting Jimi..
