Ahhhhh..thanks John...that was back when the engine quit you knew what to do to get it running again...all you needed was a screw driver and a pair of pliers..:burnout:
 
I wasn't around in those days, but I love that time when there was no replacement for displacement. :D

Nothing will ever look cooler than a straight-axle car - awsome pictures.

Edit: Are there any good classic car shows in San Diego? I used to go to the one at the NHRA museum in Pomona every month when I lived up there, but I haven't been to any since I moved down here.
 
thoes lil rail cars are sweet, ya cant see the driver just smoke and wheels.. how sweet.... nice pics silver
 
I helped prep this one for it's first race in Phoenix. It was sent from Detroit by air freight to Landy's shop in Van Nuys and we only had four days to "build" it. It was white primer when it arrived with transport damage. We changed motors and everything. Those were great times.Landy's Dodge.jpg
