Aloha..

I was going to rebuild my slightly detonated, still running engine....but.....

After talking with Micheal at xvipers.com, it sounds like a great way to go would be to buy a used gen III low mileage engine, drop it in and then sell off my s/c package and part out whats left of my old engine. That way no down time, no headaches, and I can recover a lot of the cost. Thanks for all the input

Actually, you could probably sell your blown engine on here to assist your build.

Not only can I sell my engine, but also the paxton unit....engine still runs with tapping and a knock.

Why not take it apart inspect the crank and cylinder walls. If it's all good buy stinkers drop in rods and pistons.

Might just be a wrist pin.....
