But the Forum prices on this same combo is only $3830!!!

And a very low buck basic axle will only be $2835!!!
but that is only the housing, ford brakes, detroit locker, any gear ratio, huge axles.

You are welcome to put together your own package

most get the axle, housing, detroit locker, wilwoods, powdercoated red, cryo ring and pinion, support cover and that runs $3680

I doubt there will be another group buy on these, they set the prices as low as they could, hope this helps clear up any misconceptions:D

These are the prices we can get the axles for and the options, there are more options if you can think of it, or find it on their site, we can get it.

I did round off a few of the prices say if it was $137 to $140 that way I could make a donation to the forum with whats left over.

It should take 4-6 weeks to build an axle, maybe less.

Shipping will be extra.

I will need the axle paid up front. And the axle starts build when they recieve the $.

They also have an install kit with e brake cable, u bolts , brake lines for $350.

This axle option will also allow for 15 rims for the track.

The Rc guys will benifit more from this until more QC guys start making real hp and start popping spyder gears.

But jsut for info for the qc guys we ordered Nowwhats with the spring mounts to mount the springs below the tube like an Rc, which would do away with the need for the rear flip kit. We will see how it works out.

The QC's also use a different pinion yoke so I need to get with Nowwhat and make sure of that, and thanks Nowwhat for doing that leg work, killer friend there bro:rock:

WARNING: this is a performance axle, and the detroit locker is noisy around corners.***************************************
and may cause severe forward acceleration problems

Sounds good Tony, thanks.

Any of you that don't want to pay shipping, I will pick it up for you.....and take it home to put in my truck.:D

Bill.

Notes on this axle...

As we know D lockers are noisey....but in a big truck like this where the axle far behind you...the noise sounds more like a hard shift.... .

the set up takes all wiggle out of the rear of the truck....burn out marks are laser straight...

Stability on the track...?...at 120+ mph you can drink a coffee....:D

Yeah, but Mike drinks frapacinno's with a hint of cinnomon!!!!!!!!!!

I kinda liked the wave-like squigly burnouts that the stock rear end end serves up....gives it a bit of challenge!

But I don't like busting carriers spiders and side gears as Stinker witnessed me do at the Heffner shootout launching at 5K+!!!

I'm sure this is a quality piece of equipment and I hope someday to have enough power to fully take advantage of it!

the safety side of it feels good at the track too....

sorry should have said....120+ while eating a Big Mac....:D

did someone say Big Mac:rofl:    :eating: :eating: :eating: :eating: :eating: :eating: :eating: :eating: :eating: :eating: :eating: :eek:fftopic: :eek:fftopic: :eek:fftopic: :eek:fftopic: :eek:fftopic: :eek:fftopic: :eek:fftopic: :eek:fftopic: :toilet: :toilet: :toilet: :toilet: :toilet: :toilet: :toilet:

I don't have big power, but I know that the Stinker Rear End is the second best modification I have ever put on this vehicle...this mod is a must if you want to hook up, go straight and not have differential gear problems.

Thanks again for putting the initial buy together Tony.

Is this the same as the first group buy in March?

depends on what ya mean bro, its the same axle set up and all , but the price is higher now than then.

DTS underfigured the price in the inititial group buy and actuall lost about $4-$500 a rear axle, due to the actuall axles having to be custom made by currie in CA.

so yes its the same as before, but the pricing changed, and its basically rock bottom, I did round off a few numbers so that for every axle sold I can donate a tad to the forum.

with the ford brakes will it be easier to run slicks?

all brake options from Stinker will allow you to run a 15" rim....the Wilwoods really look the part as well....
