I know there are some Police Officers and/or Sheriff's Deputies here. I need some input or opinions on the 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe Police Package. Pros and Cons? TIA

Uh...............................................

I saw 2 police package 2009 Tahoes on eBay a month ago in Pensacola. 09, 3,000 miles for around 25K. I would love to have one as a DD! I keep hearing you can't buy one as general public but Pete Moore Chevrolet in P'cola says they can get me one.

Well in that case............................ No HELLL NOOOO!!! those things suck :p

It prolly won't happen. I've never been this attached to a vehicle. Can't seem to wrap my brain around selling the 10. I really wouldn't want to see someone else driving it around.

Oh I'm not law enforcement. Wife hates it or I would. The Tahoe would be ideal for me as a volunteer firefighter. Rubber floors, A-post spotlight, etc....

We can hook you up with all that stuff for your truck;)

the tahoes are nice plenty of room easy to get in and out of easy to clean out 4x4 for the beach, but high speed cornering make the pucker factor hit the roof no matter how may times you do it even with ligh and siren screeming abut if your gona trade in the 10 not worth the trade if ya want somthing to run to fires in get a crown vic at a police auction rehook up the spot light and drive it like you stole it

imo, the 10 is about as practical, (both parents are cops) lot alot better handleing, aceleration, and prob the same gas milage. the yukon is more a people mover

My dad and I have a 99 Crown Vic P71 that he put a 98 Lincoln MarkVIII 4.6L DOHC engine and transmission in. Still in the "getting the bugs worked out" stage. But it will FLY! Had it painted and new wheels. This is what I am going to drive to fire school instead of racking up 60 miles a day on the 10.
