Holy Cow!! For those of you that watch the UFC and haven't heard, Rich Franklin lost his title last night to Anderson Silva in the first round. Silva absolutely dominated the fight, breaking Franklin's nose with a knee and then knocking him out!

No surprise here...

A. Silva has incredible Muy Thai skills and is a black belt in Jiu Jitsu....he is originaly from the Chute Boxe team.....Franklin is a good fighter and very smart....but he has never really fought a "real" fighter...Silva aint no Nate Q....:D

:dito: :dito: :dito: :dito:  Anderson Silva is the real deal and he's probably looking at a pretty lengthy run as the champ.

Im not sayin that you guys are wrong....BUUUUTTT....why were those guys called "odds makers" so far off?? Maybe you guys missed your calling because that phugger sure seemed like an upset to EVERYONE else that watched....Im sure the dude is the real deal but DAMN....that was ONE SIDED! Just watched the replay

there is money to be made in MMA right now...I seems like the odds makers are going off name racognition more than reality....

Guys like Silva slip off the radar....go train with the likes of Noguiera and become monsters.....

Well, before the fight, I saw the replay of Silva knocking out Chris Leaben, and I felt that Franklin was going to be in trouble.

Now, Nov 18--Hughes vs. St. Piere. I have always pulled for Hughes, but I think he loses the belt this time.
