I figured I would just put up a new thread with the pictures. I've spent close to 30hrs cleaning and detailing this truck. It was very well taken care of but the previous owner used it as a DD for several years. He owned his own car wash so I doubt if it was ever hand washed or waxed. The water spots on it were the worst I've seen:eek:

Really wished I would have taken some before pictures to compare to. It's night and day difference.

I had the rear bumper painted and I have a brand new mopar upper seat cover for the driver side I still have to get put on. The truck really looks like a 30k mile truck.

This truck is casually for sale. I do however plan to drive it for awhile but I would sell it.:D If anyone is SERIOUSLY interested shoot me a PM.

looks good man, what steps did you take on the paint? Clay, cleaner, wax, polish?

Washed with dawn, clay bar, hand polish and wax. It would look even better hit with a machine but I don't want to pay for that.

I'm about to buy all my own stuff just not ready to spend $1,000+ for everything I want:eek:

My iphone isn't the best for picture taking either but they look alright.

I owned a detail company for years. I probably spent close to 10 grand on tools, cleaners, expensive waxes and polishes lol. But in the end, a good slow clay bar session, and a good hand waxing is really all it comes down to. Try to keep that in mind when you are shopping for detailing stuff because its a business, trying to sell you all kinds of stuff that you dont need.

You need to get a machine. I have a Porter Cable DA and it makes polishing and waxing so easy!
Spread sealant over the entire truck within a matter of minutes.

Looks great Kyle!
