From Wisconsin to Florida and back

Well it is looking pretty much like me and the family will be takin a vacation to Florida last week in March.

Don't suppose anyone needs anything hauled their and back that we can make a deal for gas money with, never hurts to ask :dontknow:

How about you Prof, did you ever get all your stuff up here yet?????

Still haven't found a good deal on Disney tickets, for some reason giving Mickey Mouse $600 out of my pocket just hurts, guess I am cheap :D

Keep checking Craigslist Orlando. Ticket deals come up there all the time. Meanwhile, I will put my feelers out and see if I can come up with any tix.

I can get you 20% off on up to 16 tickets to Universal Studios too.

Sounds like we need to plan a GTG around the time you are coming!!! :rock:
 
We are going to need 3 adult tickets, either a 3 or 4 day pass. Found out that if a Florida Res buys them it save about $200, that would be cool but it sounds like you have to show prof that you live their when you use the tickets.

The way it looks right now we will be spending March 25th-28th in Orlando and the 29th&30th in St. Augustine to be close to the beach.

Which brings up a question that you locals might beable to answer for me. Will have the girl freind and her 11 year old daugter with. I beleive this falls in the "spring break" time of year. Is the St. Augustine area going to be nuts and not a place to take the girl freind and daughter?

THATS JUST A LITTLE SOUTH OF ST.AUG.WANT TO STAY A LITTLE OUTSIDE
ALL THE CRAZY ASS PEOPLE.ST AUG.IS NICE.WE WILL BE GOING THERE.
I WILL LET YOU KNOW WHAT I CAN FIND OUT.

Rice Lake is where I live, about 1 60 miles north of Eau Claire. I work in Birchwood which is about another 20 miles north.

I'm actually in the Keys right now! Been here since Wednesday, and will be here a while longer. How far south do you plan to go...if you need a place to stay in the Keys, PM me. We have a home there. Got everything moved from the north Florida home...

Thanks for the offer Prof, its good to have freinds. We are only goings as far south as Orlando this time around, then a day in St. Augustine. I would really like to take the Fiancee down to the key because I think it is a great drive, done it once before. But this time around spending a week in the orlando area is about it.

I can save the keys drive for another trip, maybe the honey moon :knuddel:

Would love for you to check on my place there on your next trip. Got into a lot of huge cero's this morning...temps it the upper 70's wind had died...I think I am beginning to thaw out a little.

I'm sure I could figure that out. There are several easy to install web cameras on the market. Some even have motion detection, and are wireless.

As long as you don't want them in the bathroom or bedroom, I can help you out!
