Front Brake Pads for 05 RC

Ok..we beat this to death, Im sure....but...

Anyone buy the PERFORMANCE FRICTION for your 05 RC? I just ordered them. Apparently, they are available. I hope the guy behind the counter ordered the right ones. There was NO listing for a 05 SRT-10. There was however, a listing for a Ram 1500 with the 8.3L. There were two options sizes. I ordered the larger ones for 44.99. He gave me a part number of 1085C. I think this is wrong. Its not a PF number. PF's web site does not list anything for either an 04 or an 05.

Any freaking clue?

I have the PF's on front and back of my 04. Having said that...they freakin rock. Stops great and absolutely NO DUST, NO SQUEEL.

I had to use the part number for a 2004 Ram 2500, cause that's the brakes we have. I don't know if the ones you ordered will be for an SRT or not. Guess you're gonna find out.

Mine were about the same price as yours. If they fit you are going to love them. :rock:

A word of advice on calling them....I called them too and they didn't even know the 2500 pads fit the SRTs. I only found out because I took off my stock pads and carried them into Autozone, had them pull some 2500 pads off the shelf and compared them.

When I called PF they insisted I use the part number for a Ram 1500. They weren't very "on top of the situation". Maybe by now they know the deal :dontknow:

I asked them about that awhile back months ago when you mentioned it, he siad it was there mistake, they take the pad fromthe original vehicle and replicate it, and more than once he said they find it is exactly the same pad as on another vehicle. you orta see the place, its suprisingly small the the world wide buisiness they do
