I Know It Allows Cold Air In The Engine Bay, But I Was Thinking Of "Plumbing" A Plastic Scoop Over To My K&N CIA. With Some Sort Of Insulation. I Might Have To Cut The Wall of The Cold Air Intake To Fit, But Anyway-Good Idea Or Bad??????? Then Do I Worry About WATER??????????

Wrong, it sucks hot air out. Proven by testing, it is a low pressure area.

Would It Be Worth Trying To Make It Cold Ram Air?

In my opinion,no IF you mean doing by using the hood opening

try making an opening in the air deflector (the plastic shield on the sides that forces air into the radiator) on the passenger side and plumbing a 4" tube into your CAI

There is a thread here with pics.It uses the stock box,but would probably work for a CAI just as well

I have the volant and love it. My temps stay about the same. You do NOT notice a horsepower difference. You DO notice a huge sound difference, even in the cab. It makes for a more aggressive groan.

I called and talked to the folks out at DC performance and was told the only performance increase they had seen was with the "Factory Mopar" Voliant, both with the Ram Air Options, and then only at speeds of over 40 MPH.

It seems you have to get up to speed to over come the natural Low Pressure Area mentioned above.

A performance tune with the Air Fule mixture adjusted properly and a 170 TSTAT, will drop the temps down enough to make up for the heat being "Sucked" out the hood opening.
