Still have the piller for sale, great condition. Slight grove was made in the second pod to fit a gauge. Requires mount screw (can just use the one from your stock piller, thats what i did) $50+ shipping.

like they said, even if no mods in the future are planned, have a trans temp and wideband gauge will tell you how the truck is running and in most cases, tell you when something is going wrong.
