69 Chevelle 468 BBC SBlown Enderle Injected.

It will be certified to 6.0 but I am going to start in B/Gas which runs on a 8.60 index.
After I am comfortable with it I will switch to AA/Gas which is a 7.60 index.

The car can run much faster but I will be doing what is called "balk halfing the track".

This means that I will have to be able to run much faster than the index so I can fender race on the top end.

The housing is a Chris Alston Fab 9 and the pumpkin is a Strange 9" Ultra Aluminum bolt through housing. Running Strange Spool & axles w/Richmond Pro Gears.

Walt the truck does look kinda like that but it is only caged and 4 linked. With Chromemolly. The Chevelle will be a state of the art race car very similar to a Jerry Bickel car. Almost a PROMOD except for the original front frame horns. That is due to nostalgia class rule requirements.

I just saw this on Streetfire. Blown BBCs are a lot of fun.
The Chevelle motor will look and run almost identical to the one in the red Camero.

that boys is the RIGHT way to build a race car! freaking awesome Jack, and first rate!
here is a few pics of my 67 camero, it ALL NEW metal everywhere, and now it s just sits in my wifes garage waiting on me & money. i had a nice 502 for it, but sold it to Wazzuup. someday i will either start on it, or sell it, whichever happens first!
