I have an Auto-Meter Fuel Air gauge, Lying around. And i was wondering.

Im under the truck Installing Cattless Mids. And im looking at the wires from the O2 Sensors. They have 2 White Wires, a Black one, and a Grey one.

My Gauge has a Black(Ground), Red(hot), and a Purple wire....

Do any of you guys know which wire on the O2 Sensor the Purple wire connects to????

Look at the other half the O2 connector (vehicle half). For the drivers side front O2 you want to use the dark blue with light blue tracer. If it's the passenger side O2 you want the dark blue with light green tracer.

on my 2004 hemi truck i could not just tap into a wire. so i ended up buying the o2 kit for that guage. auto-meter should have a o2 kit for your set up. the reason ended up being the ohm resistance was not correct for the guage but the o2 kit worked like a charm.

Those narrow-band A/F gauges are mostly usuless... They'll just jump back and forth and produce a beautiful light show.

If you want a functional gauge, get a wide band with a dedicated O2 sensor.

Being that wasn't your question...

Usually the signal wire on a 4 wire 02 sensor will be a white with a red stripe... You can also just tap the wire coming out of the ECU harness... you just need a pinout diagram.
