Fuel pump is gone!

Went to start the truck yesterday and discovered she will crank but wouldn't fire up. Checked the fuel filter fuse #17 20A, and it was blown. Grabbed another 20A outta the console outlet and that one blew when I turned on the ignition. Called the dealer to make an appointment for warrenty work and a number for a Rollback for pickup. My truck was dropped off this morning and I received a call that confirmed the pump was toast. The pump isn't stocked and will take 3-5 business days to arrive. The man says it isn't the same one used in the Hemi. Well It's me and the bike till then. On the way home from work I stopped for beer and had to bungee an 18 pack of Miller's finest on my seat. BTW, 25k miles on the OD.

Hey Wally, At least the thing waited till you got home from the GTG. Sure enjoyed meeting you.
The day after the GTG my central AC bit the dust at the house, thankfully it lasted until after everyone left. Its one hot sumbitch in here !!!

It was the first time I started the truck after the GTG. Luck of the Irish.
