Just bought a 04 srt 10 & love it! only problem so far is when I fire it up in the morning the fuel pump squils for about 5 seconds changing in pitch..or atleast I assume its the fuel pump. Only does this the first start of the day then its fine...anyone else have this problem
found one at napa for $250 should I go ahead and change it or wait..

I think that is the crazy oil filter squeal noise. I'm sure someone will chime in, in the know.

Is it coming from the gas tank or under the hood? If it sounds like it's coming from the motor, then it likely is the oil filter squeal. The fuel pump in in the gas tank. I doubt you could hear it squeal.

Your using and aftermarket oil filter, put the dodge one on and it will stop. (btw the dodge one is 7$)

hmmm...i could swear it sounds like its comming from the rear but ill check the oil filter to find out let you guys know....

Get ready one morning and have a couple people around the truck and make sure its outside the garage, insside the noise can fool ya.

but most likely it would be the oil filter, do you know which one you are using?

if not the only other thing I can think of is the power steering pump, check and make sure its full, and listen to it in the morn.

the pump, is in the tank, and very small, it would probably be a little hard to here it, unless it was really getting starved for fuel
