Done with Meguiers step 2 polish, car looks awesome.
Next is the step 3 carnuba wax.
tomorrow I will get some nice pics outside, the car is looking awesome.
as of now I have over 17 hours of cleaning it:(

All the hard work is worth it! :D

I jacked up the passenger side of the car today, removed the wheels, and detailed the suspension. I think I removed 5 lbs of road grime, grease, etc - suspension should work much better now, plus those A-arms and blue Koni's look pretty now! Drivers side is next, then waxing the paint. The Viper will be much happier with some TLC - I don't think the previous owner ever cleaned any of the suspension bits.

Spare tire - yes, your research regarding the GTS vs. RT/10 is correct, it is not required. However, it will help in a rear end collision and doesn't weigh that much, so I am leaving mine in. Anything to have something between another car and the fuel tank right behind me is good!!! :D

F all that cleaning crap. After four loooong months, I finally got mine out this weekend and took it for a drive. Going to do it again Sunday!!!!:D :D :D :D :D

Our cars are a few years older than yours, thus more years of buildup to clean. Plus, I drive mine all year long, it doesn't go into hibernation.... LOL! :D
