SRT-4s are quick vehicles. For the money, it's tough to beat for speed. There are a bunch of Airman on my base who don't make much money but can afford one of these.

I'm not sure where the slam on SRT-4s are relevant, other than fun to call them neons.

Yeah, I am just killing time over there. Don't have VP to rile up anymore and most the L boards are a half step from banning my ass, so I figured I'd stir it up somewhere it wouldn't matter, lol.

I would probably drive one if someone gave it to me, but I wouldn't buy one. Neat little cars tho. Just like stirring the pot over there. It's too easy with them.

I am building a Neon Motor for a friend of mine, some of you saw it at the Mopar Nats under the tent. The 2.0 liter it has now puts 450 hp to the wheels. We will be building a 2.4 this time with a CNC ported Indy Cylinder Head,oliver rods,bigger turbo and bigger innercooler. Make sure if you talk smack about a Neon that you can back it up first. I wouldn't own one but they do have some that are making 600 h.p. at the wheel.

my buddy steve locket is driving the fasgtest street legal neon. I believe it runs in the 9s. it's got an srt-4 motor and about 600 hp also.

I had one before the 10. Budget pocket rocket.... But I HATE front wheel drive... bothers me seriously... I think I've said this before too. If I had the cash to justify it, I'd like to have an AWD Caliber and build that up for the hell of it.

Yeah, I calmed down. I really only jumped in cause they were being silly, but they were provoked by someone else, so...

I will tell you,that when I bought my Yellow Fever,I received an invite to the inaugural SRT Experience in Daytona.There were only four vehicles to drive,and if you weren't driving,you could ride with one of the Pro Drivers.I sit about 220lbs,and there were four of us close to the same weight in this SRT4 NEON leading the other cars around the track.The things this driver put that car through with all of us in there DAMN sure EARNED my respect for the SRT4 !!!!Go ahead and laugh at them all you want,Bang for the Buck has to go to SRT 4's !!!!
