FYI Lopers In Phoenix

I was at the 7th Ave & Indian School location of Lopers Speed Shop (the garage part) last week to price them installing my headers. They wanted $600plus. They said they were moving from there to I-17 & Deer Valley Road soon.

Id say thats a little excessive, although the collector bolts can sometimes be a bitch. Maybe they are compensating for that?

That's the reason I kept looking. Found a place that would do it for $300. & another that would do it for $200. I'm going with the $300., because I have done business with him before & he is throwing a Magnaflow muffler. I was wondering if they were moving because they wanted to or because they had to because of their prices.

They've always been high priced Jim. I don't believe they are associated with the retail side of Loper's. I've bought many parts from them and they are real cool on pricing.

I was gonna install headers for Jim but his unique situation of hiding the headers from his wife makes it difficult.

Yeah a performance shop down the road in Nashville wanted like $1400 to install headers/mids/exhaust and a drop kit. I emailed 2 vendors on here and they quoted between 800-1000 max. The place in Nashville charges $120/hr.

B&B charged me 300 just to fix a busted bolt on my truck. I carry that bolt with me everywhere now.
